This was custom designed for an alcove in a billiard room.  The starting point of the design is a basic Stickley design with the square arm.  I added the rustic detail to give it more than just the standard built in seating area look.  The main construction is reclaimed douglas fir, with a back made from a natural edge slab – cut of Jackpine.  Finally a fabric was selected to coordinate with the other fabrics and rugs in the room.  The piece functions as storage for games in the drawers and a place to wait your turn at a game of billiards.
