My client requested simply a poker table to go in his game room that has a western décor.  The table base is a massive piece of jackpine with a lot of character.  As you can imagine, it is extremely heavy.  The table top consists of three layers:   a bottom piece of wood then the felt playing surface, then the thick top piece.  The top even has carved out areas for each players chips.
 
To compliment the table, I added lodge pole pine chairs.  Each chair is individually carved and has western fringe on the arms.
